Future of Kilmany Church

Important decisions about the future of Kilmany Church will be made within the next month.

At the meeting of the Creich Flisk & Kilmany Congregational Board held in December, a majority decision was taken that, “Steps should be taken towards the disposal of Kilmany Church”. In effect this means that Kilmany Church will be closed as a place of worship, and then the building will be put up for sale.

This decision requires to be put to a vote of the congregation, to be held after worship in Kilmany Church on Sunday 21 February 2016 at 11.00am.

Prior to this vote, a meeting of the congregation will be held in Creich Church this Sunday (31 January 2016 at 11.00am) after worship. This meeting is to discuss the reasons for the decision to close one of our church buildings.

Anyone with an interest in the future of our Church and its buildings would be very welcome at these services. Only those on the congregational role however are entitled to vote.

Happy New Year!

A very happy New Year to all members and friends of Creich Flisk & Kilmany Church.

Regular Sunday Worship continues this morning (Sunday 3 Jan), in Creich Church at 11.00am. Tea & coffee will be available for a time of fellowship after the service.

All very welcome.
